Every virgin
cartridge can be remanufactured once or maybe twice where
quality remains reasonably acceptable. However, continued
remanufacturing will result in the print density to drop to
1.2 or lower inspite of using the same components of toner,
drum, and doctor blade. This is due to the expiry of service
life of the mag roller sleeve. The mag sleeve may also
exhibit a decline during the charging process when the
sleeve becomes contaminated with toner contaminants.
It is here that Pamos coating solution is helpful to the
remanufacturer who is facing many unknown factors to restore
the durability of the mag sleeve surface.
The deployment of a new mag sleeve is a good option. Or the
alternative option of using a recoated mag sleeve in order
to obtain a more desirable print density and quality is
highly commendable. However, it comes with a price in which
many in the industry will try to avert in order to sustain
cost leadership. Replacing a new or a recoated mag sleeve
entails not only a higher cost input, it also requires more
time and effort in dismantling the old mag sleeve and
refitting a new one with the magnet core inside.
With Pamos Coating solution, all the difficulties and
problems associated to refitting a new or recoated mag
roller will be eliminated. There is no necessity to remove
the magnet core. The process of this coating solution is
simple, easy to coat, awfully consistent and it is very
fast.
It comes with 2T which is an oil based coating. It is applied
directly from the packet by hand. The coating procedure
takes less than 10 seconds and the finishing process another
10 seconds to ensure that excess oil does not remain on the mag sleeve surface. The chemical process takes place
instantly. It rejuvenates the mag sleeve instantaneously.
Uses of Pamos Coating
Solution
For many remanufacturers, large or small, one of the many
challenges facing them is the production of toner cartridges
that is consistent. Yes, consistency is the key word in
which many of us would like to achieve in our products.
Consistency covers many aspects in the product. It includes
among others:-
|
1. |
Print quality in
terms of density, graphics, yield, backgrounding,
blasting, and ghosting and performance of density during
its service cycle. |
|
2. |
Print quality
comparing cartridge to cartridge of the like models. |
|
3. |
Print quality
comparing batch to batch of a particular model. |

One of the uses of Pamos coating solution is to enable
remanufacturers to be able to produce homogeneity in mass
quantity, a consistency in print quality with high density
and high yield. Past and present experiences indicate that
density during the service cycle of each particular toner
cartridge remains at its maximum till the end of cycle when
the mag roller has been rejuvenated with Pamos Coating
solution. By coating the mag roller in each and every toner
cartridge, the rejuvenated mag roller delivers a highly
uniform print benchmark in each individual unit.
