Top Glove is now the major and
leading rubber as well as synthetic and surgical glove
manufacturer and exporter in the world since its inception
in Malaysia in 1991. Over the years, Top Glove has embarked
on an impressive expansion plan, starting from 1 factory in
1991 to 10 factories in 2003. Top Glove is now producing an
impressive 750 million pieces of high quality gloves per
month or approximately 9.0 billion pieces of gloves per
annum supported by 110 modern and highly efficient
production lines.
In a short span of slightly more than a year, Top Glove
Corporation Berhad's listing has been successfully promoted
from the Second Board to the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur
Stock Exchange on May 16, 2002. Top Glove now has a
shareholder fund of USD38.0 million with an annual turnover
of about USD100 million.

accreditations include SIRIM ISO 9001 (Malaysia), TUV
Certificate (Germany), NF Mark (France), CE Marking
(Europe), TGA (Australia), ADA (US) and CGSB (Canada).
Accredited with these international quality awards for its
glove products, Top Glove is currently exporting to more
than 145 countries worldwide to an estimated of 500 glove
importers and distributors. Its major customers are based in
the US, Spain, Holland, Germany and Poland, which take up
42% of production output. The remaining 58% is exported to
100 over other countries mainly for medical, dental, high
technology, food and services, household and utilities and
industrial segments.
